Let the magical new zealand scenery begin...

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before an 8.15am departure on the TranzAlpine train as you head to Greymouth. Lunch today is in a licenced café carriage. You will be picked up at 1pm and drive to Lake Mahinapua which is a stunning scenic reserve that offers opportunities for picnicking, walking and water based activities. Continuing on, you will arrive in Fox Glacier at 4.30pm. Today will provide many photo opportunities including the scenic train journey, Lake Mahinapua reflecting Southern Alps and Lake Matheson with its stunning sunset reflection. Dinner this evening is at the White Pub or Last Kitchen.
